Trends in the videogame software industry: Towards new business models?

Abstract: 

A description of the structure of the global video market together with an assessment of its economic weight is proposed first, followed by a review of its value chain, in order to highlight the evolution of the relationships between the different players of the value chain. Then, the likeliness that disruptive technologies will emerge in the online and mobile games market is investigated, in a scenario of rapidly increasing.
